A 2005 Chrysler Town & Country driven by Eric Joel Jensen, 43 of Tripoli, Iowa, and a 2016 Chevy Malibu driven by Ashley Rose McConnell, 39 of Spring Valley, were both heading south when they crashed just south of the Interstate 90 interchange.
The State Patrol says alcohol use by McConnell was a factor in the collision.

The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office, Stewartville Fire Department, and Mayo Ambulance assisted with this accident.
