Rochester, Minn.-- Can Do Canines hosted the Tails of Independence Reception, a fundraiser aimed at supporting their mission to provide life-changing assistance dogs to individuals in need.

Since 1989, the nonprofit has trained and placed over 900 assistance dogs, all free of charge, helping those with disabilities such as autism, mobility challenges, diabetes, and hearing loss in Southeastern Minnesota.

The organization relies on community support, fundraisers, and volunteer trainers to continue its mission. Sheila Ross, Development Director at Can Do Canines, expressed gratitude for the support received, highlighting the positive impact these dogs have on people's lives.
