Paramount+ subscribers will pay more for their streaming service starting Jan. 15, the latest in a string of price increases across the industry that has pushed monthly costs beyond what many once paid for cable.
The streaming platform announced that its ad-supported Essential plan will increase by $1 to $8.99 per month, while the ad-free Premium plan will rise by $1 to $13.99 monthly. Annual subscriptions will also climb, with Essential jumping to $89.99 per year and Premium reaching $139.99 annually.
The streamer is also ending free trials of the streaming service.
The increases come less than 16 months after Paramount+ last raised prices in August 2024, when Essential increased by $2 and Premium by $1.
