The Dodgers were linked to right-handed reliever Devin Williams before, and they’re linked to him once again.
Dodgers general manager Brandon Gomes hinted Tuesday that the team could be in the market for a reliever, and The Athletic reported that among the potential candidates, Williams is one player that Los Angeles has its eye on.
Williams, 31, had a rough season with the Yankees in 2025, getting removed from his role as closer and posting a 4.79 ERA.
He went 4-6 and had a 1.13 WHIP, recording 18 saves in 22 opportunities in pinstripes.
Williams, a two-time National League Reliever of the Year winner with the Brewers, had previously expressed openness to returning to the Yankees and felt that he had a solid season.
