MADISON, New Jersey (WABC) -- St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center launched New Jersey's first 'Kitten College' to help build a coalition of animal advocates to save the lives of kittens.

The new program teaches shelters, rescues and foster caregivers how to save and care for the vulnerable animals.

Their mission is to turn tiny bottle-fed 'freshmen' into healthy, happy 'graduates' who are ready for adoption.
