KILLEEN, Texas — A Killeen Army veteran is voicing his frustration after his mobile detailing trailer was stolen from his front yard.

Retired Army Master Sgt. Byron Briscoe said the theft took more than just equipment, it took the business he spent months building from the ground up.

“I did 22 years in the Army, retired about two years ago, and I was kind of looking for the next step in my life,” Briscoe said. “I decided to start my own mobile detailing business.”

Briscoe said he spent six to seven months designing and building the trailer himself, outfitting it with generators, vacuums and all the tools of his trade. He estimates the total investment at nearly $20,000.

Last week, that trailer, and everything inside, was stolen from outside his Killeen home.
