Tuesday’s 4A girls soccer state semifinal contest between Central Dauphin and CB South saw twists, turns, falls and rises at Cocalico High School.
But a steady play by a sophomore standout proved to be the difference, as a late goal by Khloe Montini lifted the Titans to their first state title game in program history, defeating the Rams 3-2 in a comeback victory.
Here’s how CB South did it.
The stars
Montini scored the big finish for the Titans in the win, while Charlotte Manley and Tessa Hughes also scored goals.
Cami Ofak tallied both scores for the Rams. Lea Carmona also had an assist, and had a handful of huge plays defensively for Central Dauphin.
Riley Fisher had nine saves in the loss for CD.
