115th Fighter Wing holding F-35 training flights November 12

MADISON (WKOW) -- The 115th Fighter Wing of the Wisconsin Air National Guard will conduct evening training flights from November 12-13 and November 17-20. Residents in the Madison area might notice F-35 aircraft taking off or landing until about 8:00 p.m.

These operations, typically held during daylight, sometimes require nighttime flights so pilots and maintenance personnel can be prepared. The 115th Fighter Wing says they will adhere to flight paths that minimize noise for residents.

In a statement, the 115th Fighter Wing thanked citizens of Wisconsin and the greater Madison area for their support.
