SPARTANBURG, S.C. —

The Wofford women’s basketball team fell in the closing moments to the Georgia State Panthers 75-68 on Tuesday night inside of Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium. The Terriers fall to 1-2 while Georgia State improves to 2-1.

Queen Ikhiuwu and Gabby Mundy recorded double-doubles in the setback – the first time two Terriers have done so since January of 2024.

Wofford shot 25-of-70 (35.7%) from the field and only made 5-of-29 (17.2%) three-point attempts. From the free throw line, the Terriers converted on 13 of their 18 attempts. Georgia State closed the night with 24 makes on 65 field goal attempts (36.9%) and made 12-of-32 three-pointers. The Panthers shot 15-of-20 from the charity stripe.
