The Melville Millionaires have announced a trade with the Nipawin Hawks.
The Millionaires have dealt 20-year-old forward Brendan Olson to the Hawks in exchange for 19-year-old forward Jack Drake and the CJHL rights to 19-year-old goaltender Jayden Kraus.
Olson, a native of Sturgeon County, Alberta, appeared in 100 career games with Melville, collecting 23 goals and 35 assists for 58 points, along with 149 penalty minutes. So far this season, Olson has notched five goals and two assists for seven points in 18 games.
Drake, in his second SJHL season, has posted two goals and two assists in nine games with Nipawin. Kraus, from Prince Albert, is currently playing with the WHL’s Brandon Wheat Kings, where he holds a 2-5-1 record, along with a 5.14 goals-against average and an .863 save perce
