OMAHA, Neb. —
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says it shut down a "rager" in Elkhorn on Saturday evening.
A 19-year-old man was charging a cover to attend a party at a house he rented on Airbnb, Sheriff Aaron Hanson said. No one was charged.
Hanson and people living in the area said attendees were loud and disruptive.
Hanson said most of the trouble came after the party was shut down, when nearly 100 young people drove around the neighborhood looking for the party.
The home is in the Elkhorn View Estates neighborhood, just south of 192nd and Maple.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office posted about the incident in a "cringey" way on Facebook, Hanson said. It used plenty of emojis and Gen Z slang. Hanson said it's about public education.
The goal, he said, was to get the message
