Genevieve Millett generated 10 kills and 11 digs to lead second-seeded St. John Vianney to a 3-0 victory over Mount St. Mary in a South Jersey Non-Public A semifinal in Holmdel.
Daria Shnarevich contributed nine kills and Taylor Sofilkanich made eight kills for St. John Vianney, which won by scores of 25-12, 25-21 and 25-22.
Ayana Warren contributed 26 assists and eight digs for St. John Vianney (24-1), which advanced to meet top-seeded Paul VI in Thursday’s sectional finals.
Paul VI advanced with a 3-0 win over Union Catholic.
Giavanna Sergi contributed 11 digs and four aces for St. John Vianney.
Brienne Seinwald had 15 kills and Sophia Paden had 29 assists for Mount St. Mary (18-8).
