The defence ministry are investigating the cause of the incident
All 20 soldiers on board a Turkish military cargo plane have died after a crash in Georgia.
The vehicle crashed in Georgia near the border with Azerbaijan on Tuesday (November 11). Turkey's defence ministry have now confirmed that 20 soldiers were killed in the collision as inspectors continue to find out what caused the NATO member's cargo plane to go down.
The C-130 plane had taken off from Azerbaijan and was on its way back to Turkey when it crashed in Georgia on Tuesday. Video footage aired on Turkish news outlets appeared to show the aircraft spiralling down and leaving a trail of white smoke.
