More than £50,000 has been raised for a four-year-old boy battling a rare and serious neurological disorder.
Abraham Savva's parents hope the generosity of family, friends - and complete strangers - who have all donated to an appeal will be able to cover the cost of expensive treatment for him abroad.
They say doctors here have told them Abraham's condition is 'critical' - and fear he may not be able to recover. The family, however, hope the funds will be enough to access specialist treatment at hospitals in either the US or Israel.
Abraham lives with his family in Hyde , Tameside , and is in reception at Godley Primary School in Hyde . He was diagnosed in early October with Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis - or ADEM - and remains at Alder Hey Children's Hos
