Amazon recently eliminated around 14,000 corporate positions, marking its biggest job cuts since the pandemic-era. Now, it appears that once again the company has fired hundreds of employees. According to a filling on the state’s WARN (Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification) dashboard, Amazon has laid off 660 employees across nine of its New York City offices. The fresh round of layoffs are said to be the part of company’s ongoing restructuring exercise as it continues to streamline operations and adapt to shifting business priorities.
