LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Las Vegas Metro Police said a motorcyclist was transported to the hospital Tuesday night after a south valley crash.
Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the crash happened just after 9 p.m. near Windmill and Amigo Street, near South Las Vegas Boulevard. Police said the motorcyclist sped westbound on Windmill.
At the same moment, police said another driver was exiting a private driveway and turned westbound onto Windmill. A crash happened when the motorcyclist hit the other car.
Police said the motorcyclist suffered a leg injury and was hospitalized. Windmill is expected to stay closed between Vista Palmas and Amigo in both directions.
