The Red Fort car blast that killed 12 people and injured several others in Delhi on Monday evening is a clear case of cross-border terrorism, according to security experts.
Former top police officers have said that the attack bears the hallmark of a Pakistan-sponsored module and called for stronger action against the Pakistan Army and its intelligence agency, the ISI.
SP Vaid, former DGP of Jammu and Kashmir Police, told CNBC-TV18 that the explosion was “undoubtedly a terror incident” and appeared to be linked with a larger module unearthed by multiple state police forces. “I have no doubt about it from my experience in Jammu and Kashmir,” Vaid said, adding that the Red Fort blast and the terror module discovered in Faridabad were “all linked”.
He said the investigation would take time
