BROOKINGS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -After a sluggish 1st quarter when they trailed Murray State 15-10, the South Dakota State Women erupted to outscore them 81-45 the rest of the way and win 91-60 Tuesday night in Brookings.

Brooklyn Meyer was 11 of 14 from the floor for 24 points with 7 rebounds to lead 5 players in double figures. Ellie Colbeck had 12, Mahli Abdouch 11 and Hadley Thul, Maddie Mathiowetz each had 10 points.

The 3-0 Jackrabbits play Montana Saturday in Rapid City before turning to the Pentagon in Sioux Falls next Thursday against Gonzaga.

SDSU then heads to Cancun after Thanksgiving to play North Carolina, Columbia and Kansas State.
