COLUMBUS, Ohio — The second College Football Playoff rankings of the 2025 season were released Tuesday, and the top remained relatively unchanged.

Ohio State , after improving to 9-0 with its win at Purdue on Saturday, retained the No. 1 spot.

The Buckeyes will likely remain atop the rankings over the next two weeks, barring an upset. OSU hosts UCLA and Rutgers before closing the regular season at No. 18 Michigan.
