A public health alert has been issued for people who attended a US country-rap artist's concert in Brisbane last month after a measles outbreak in Queensland.
Queensland Health confirmed three cases of measles have been linked to the Jelly Roll concert on Friday, October 24 at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre at Boondall.
The concertgoers spent time in several locations while unknowingly infectious, including on the Gold Coast and Wide Bay areas.
There have been 30 cases of measles in Queensland so far in 2025, which is almost eight times the average for the past five years.
People who visited these regions or attended the concert are advised to monitor for symptoms that could appear up to three weeks after exposure.
