LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - High pressure is finally ushing farther to the east and that is bringing back more moisture and humidity as winds turn out of the south.
You’ll definitely notice the difference as you step out the door this morning as temperatures are in the middle 40s inland to the lower and middle 50s south.
A combination of sunshine and a gusty southerly breeze will help to warm us nicely through the afternoon into the middle and upper 70s.
It will still be perfect weather to get outside and enjoy if you can as we remain dry, which is also a bad thing as the drought continues to worsen.
More sunshine can be expected as we head through the next few afternoons, mixing with clouds at times as we see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.
