Jefferson, Gibraltar Carlson, Ida set next step in football playoffs

Jefferson’s football team didn’t expect to have a home playoff game this week.

Because of that, the Bears almost didn’t have their home available.

“They were getting ready to winterize our stadium,” Jefferson coach Rob Beaudrie said. “They were going to do it on Wednesday. I had to text Alyssa (Jefferson athletic director Alyssa Eppler) to tell her that we would have another home game if Michigan Center won. They had to cancel it.”
