After the deadly Red Fort Metro Station blast that killed 13 and injured over 20, India’s top security review body, the Cabinet Committee on Security, will meet here on Wednesday to take stock of the situation and consider the way forward.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the review which will also discuss the status of investigations into the Delhi blast and take a call on the way forward.

Home Minister Amit Shah, who held two high-level review meetings with top security agency leaders on Tuesday, will present his report to the CCS, which consists of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. Principal Secretaries to PM Modi and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval will also attend.
