VERMILLION — The South Dakota Football Coaches Association will present a number of awards during the state high school championship games Nov. 13-15 in the Dakota Dome.

The Coach of the Year Awards will be presented at halftime of each classification's championship game.

Various honors include:

2025-25 Coaches of the Year

Class 9B — Ross Flemmer, Dell Rapids St. Mary.

Class 9A — Lex Heathershaw, Wall.

Class 9AA — Dustin Tschetter, Freeman-Marion/Freeman Academy.

Class 11B — Jake Terry, Elk Point-Jefferson.

Class 11A — Mick Thompson, Milbank.

Class 11AA — Dru Strand, Huron.

Class 11AAA — Eric Struck, Sioux Falls Jefferson.

All Nations Conferenece — Dusty Welsh, Winnebago.

2025-26 Assistant Coaches of the Year

Middle School — Blaine Bacon, Dell Rapids St. Mary.
