EL PASO, Texas ( Border Report ) – Police in Sonora, Mexico, have arrested a 54-year-old man who allegedly doused his ex-wife with gasoline during an argument, then threatened to set her on fire.

Neighbors of a woman only identified as Veronica N. called police to report a domestic disturbance in the community of Benjamin Hill, some 50 miles south of the Nogales, Sonora-Nogales, Arizona, border.

Sonora state police officers drove up to the residence on Calle Cubillas and allegedly witnessed an individual flee on foot.
