Indiana basketball coach Darian DeVries forged the work ethic that's defined his career at a young age in rural Iowa thanks to a long list of daily chores.

DeVries' made his first trip to Indiana to compete in a national free-throw contest at Market Square Arena back in 1987.

DeVries has built a winning culture as a head coach everywhere he's been by embracing hard work.
