While Green Bay-area school districts are focusing on improving scores and student learning, changes to accountability measures make it difficult to tell exactly how well they're succeeding year over year. Wisconsin’s school district “report cards,” released to the public Nov. 11, are meant to be an accountability tool that score how schools and districts are performing in several key areas. The school or district receives an overall score and star rating out of five, plus additional scores that measure how much students are improving year over year, how well the school is reaching its lowest-scoring students and how well-prepared students are to succeed.
