Despite below-freezing temperatures at the start, Tuesday, hundreds of people lined the streets of downtown Charleston for the capital city's annual Veterans Day Parade bundled in scarves, gloves and winter coats.
A procession of high school marching bands, JROTC members and floats filled with veterans throwing candy marched a loop from Kanawha Boulevard around the city and back again.
