The National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by BJP and JD(U) under Nitish Kumar, is projected to retain power in the Bihar 2025 Assembly elections, according to JVC exit polls. While the Mahagathbandhan, led by Tejashwi Yadav, shows strong support and is expected to win 88-103 seats, the ruling alliance appears poised to secure a clear majority.

The entry of political strategist-turned-politician Prashant Kishor, whose Jan Suraaj Party (JSP) is contesting all 243 seats on its debut, along with Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM, which contested 25 seats, has turned the election into a multi-front contest.
