CONCORD, N.H. —
The New Hampshire Supreme Court is set to hear oral arguments Wednesday on a convicted murderer's appeal.
Logan Clegg was found guilty of randomly killing a Concord couple in April of 2022. Authorities said the victims, Steve and Wendy Reid, were shot to death while they were walking along a trail.
Clegg was sentenced in December of 2023 to two consecutive sentences of 50 years to life in prison. During his sentencing, Clegg claimed he did not get a fair trial.
"Those detectives did everything in their power in the last year to cheat me out of getting a proper trial," Clegg said in court.
Clegg's lawyers said some of the evidence against him should not have been allowed at trial. They said police did not have a warrant for Clegg's cell phone location data when they use
