MANCHESTER, N.H. —
As the holiday season approaches, Monadnock Peer Support in Keene is stepping up to help those in need.
The organization works year-round to support people who are working to improve their mental health. It offers free services, including support groups, life skills groups, art therapy and more.
Monadnock Peer Support said this time of year can be especially difficult for some people.

"Some people aren't connected to their families, or it could be seasonal, that it's dark out, it's cold. So, we do a Yankee Swap together, and we always have extra gifts so that if people couldn't afford gifts, they can still participate," said Melissa Callender, director of mission impact.
