New Delhi: Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will retain most of their squad ahead of the IPL 2026 mini-auction . They won their maiden IPL title after 18 years, defeating Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 6 runs in the final. Josh Hazlewood was the star performer with the ball for RCB, taking 22 wickets in 12 matches at an economy of 8.77.

Virat Kohli was the leading run-scorer for the franchise, amassing 657 runs in 15 matches at a strike-rate of 144.71. RCB will look to fill in minor gaps in their squad as they aim to defend their title in 2026. They might have to release a couple of overseas players, including some big names, to build their squad at the IPL 2026 auction next month.
