Clowns, floats, balloons, and Santa Claus can only mean one thing: The Blade’s Holiday Parade is back.

The 38th annual event is set for Saturday at 10 a.m., starting at the corner of Summit Street and Jefferson Avenue and ending at the intersection of Washington and Huron streets.

“The parade is a gift to the community,” said Heather Pacheco, The Blade’s associate director of events. “It brings together generations and creates memories that last a lifetime. What I love most is seeing the excitement on children’s faces, the pride of local participants, and the way the parade marks the official start of the holiday season in Toledo. It’s a tradition that belongs to everyone.”
