Police are looking for a black car that pulled up to a 16-year-old boy and three assailants opened fire, hitting the teen Tuesday night in West Garfield Park.
Around 8:40 p.m., the teen was walking on the sidewalk in the 4300 block of West Maypole Avenue when a black sedan pulled up and three gunman exited and opened fire, Chicago police said.
The teen was shot twice in the foot and was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was in good condition, police said.
No one was in custody.
Area 4 detectives are investigating.
