A Glasgow resident has told how a burst sewer left a 'jobby geyser' spewing human waste.

The Shawlands local says that a burst pipe on Hector Road left 'turds all over the pavement' for nearly two weeks.

In a post, they said: "hey Scottish Water, just wondering when you are going to get to permanently fixing the collapsed sewer pipe on Hector Road in Shawlands, Glasgow? Don’t want to sound pushy, but it’s been over two weeks since you first came out, and now it’s spewing human turds all over the pavement

"It would be a real treat if residents of all ages didn’t have to avoid a jobby geyser whilst walking down the street."

Scottish Water has since confirmed that the sewer has been repaired and is operating as normal. But work is ongoing in the area.
