A mum said her 40th birthday ended in horror when she 'faceplanted' the pavement - after being 'spiked' when she left her drink to dance. Victoria Dooney grew worried when she stumbled out of a bar in Blackpool , Lancashire, earlier this month (September 6) despite saying she didn't have that much to drink.

The mum-of-one said she managed to walk to another bar shortly before midnight but when she got there she 'collapsed' on the toilet and 'couldn't move her arms and legs'. Victoria's friends sought help from bouncers who brought her back outside and helped walk her to her hotel.

Victoria says she fell over and face-planted the floor outside the hotel, leaving her with cuts and bruises on her face as she was unable to move her arms to stop the fall. The dog groomer says
