Potholes on Indian roads, including in metros like Bengaluru and Mumbai, are persistent problems, leading to incessant outrage on social media. An Indian man living in Dubai recently captured how efficiently potholes are repaired in the United Arab Emirates. In a video that has gone viral now, the man hailed the city’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) for repairing a pothole-ridden road within a few hours of it being reported.
Reshabh Nagpal shared a video on Instagram capturing the swift repair work. In it, he said that the action began soon after his friend complained about the damaged stretch. To their surprise, RTA officials arrived almost immediately and began fixing the road . His video shows workers clearing debris, levelling the surface, and resurfacing the road.
