The NHS has advised people experiencing a particular Covid symptom to "turn the heating down", as having your radiators on could potentially exacerbate the condition. Despite a slight decrease in Covid cases in recent weeks, the virus remains prevalent across the UK. ‌

The most recent data from the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), collected during the week of 27 October, indicates a dip in hospital Covid cases. The weekly average positivity rate for Covid-19 in hospital settings was reported at 5.7 per cent, compared to 7.7 per cent the previous week. ‌
