WATERBURY — Two local nonprofit organizations — Jane Doe No More and the Mattatuck Museum — were recognized with Connecticut Community Foundation Trustee Awards at the 2025 Annual Meeting held on September 17. The Trustee Fund Awards recognize people and organizations in Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills who collaborate for a common purpose, find innovative ways to meet important community needs, and adapt to unexpected or changing circumstances. Each recipient received a $5,000 award to sustain their ongoing work.
The two groups that received awards included Jane Doe No More based in Naugatuck, Connecticut, and the Mattatuck Museum of Waterbury, Connecticut.
