The new film does not have a release date, but filming is scheduled to begin in February, and the story will see a wave of brutal murders hit London, which results in Luther being secretly called back into service. Ruth Wilson and Dermot Crowley will also return, and Jamie Payne, a frequent Luther director, is back in the director's chair.
