(Fort Berthold Reservation, ND) — Community members on the Fort Berthold Reservation are hosting food distribution events this week. The Great Plains Food Bank will be working with the MHA Nation’s Bridge-to-Aid Response team to hand out 40-thousand-pounds of food. Drive-through pickup is Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the old Jason’s Super Foods in New Town. Thursday’s event is for SNAP benefit recipients only, while Friday is open for members from all segments.
