UNL Academic Cuts Continue

University of Nebraska Chancellor Rodney Bennett has released his final plan to close the $27.5 million budget gap the university is facing.

This follows weeks of the academic planning committee gathering feedback and recommendations. The revised plan would lose four academic programs rather than six, meaning Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, Educational Administration, Statistics, and Textiles, Merchandising and Fashion Design are still on the chopping block. Four other colleges are facing budget cuts.

Buzzard Mother Charged

Authorities have arrested Melodee Buzzard’s mother, Ashlee Buzzard, but according to authorities, it isn’t related to her daughter’s disappearance.
