Bhubaneswar : The two-day International Symposium on Shree Anna (Millets) and Women Farmers 2025 wrapped up successfully at Lokaseva Bhavan Convention Centre. The event, organised by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment, focused on “The Role of Women in Conservation of Agricultural Heritage and Biodiversity”.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan graced the inaugural session. Chouhan praised Odisha’s efforts in conserving agricultural heritage and promoting millets, highlighting the state’s Millet Day and leadership in millet production.
