More than a month after he made an appeal to the Israeli President to pardon the country’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu , who is facing a slew of corruption charges, US President Donald Trump has sent a letter to his counterpart in Jerusalem, urging the same.

Isaac Herzog’s office said on Wednesday that the Israeli President has received the letter from Trump.
