KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knoxville police are searching for a 23-year-old man who officers believe was involved in a shooting in Fountain City Tuesday night.

KPD said Tristan Weatherspoon is wanted in connection to a shooting on Fair Drive near Montrose Road just before midnight on Tuesday.

KPD said officers responded and found multiple gunshots had been fired at the home. A woman and two children, ages 7 and 5, were in the home at the time of the shooting but no one was injured, police said.

Officers learned that Weatherspoon fired shots at the home in retaliation, targeting a man who was not in the home at the time, police said.
