YADGIR: Industrial waste from factories in the Kadechur-Badiyala industrial area in Yadgir district’s Badiyala village has caused the death of hundreds of aquatic life forms and contamination of water sources.

The waste, allegedly discharged by some factories at night, has polluted the stream running through the village, causing the death of fish and other aquatic life. The water is also contaminated with toxic substances, and animals that drink from it are also dying.

Residents claim that despite reporting the issue to authorities, no action has been taken. The pollution has led to a stench in the area, and the water is unfit for consumption. The incident has raised concerns about the lack of regulation and enforcement of environmental norms in the industrial area.
