Two days after the deadly bomb blast near Delhi’s Red Fort left at least 12 dead and over 20 others inured, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday convened an emergency meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) at his residence.
The CCS meeting to review the security situation following the bomb blast was attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and other top officials.

National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of India, Ajit Doval was also present in the meeting that was underway at the time of writing this news report.
