WESTLAKE, Ohio (WOIO) - A 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man are under arrest for the robbery of a gun store in September.
A total of 12 guns were stolen from Westlake Classic Firearms in the 26300 block of Center Ridge Rd. at 12:09 a.m. on Sept. 13.
According to a news release from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the suspect used a hammer to break a glass window at Westlake Classic Firearms in the 26300 block of Center Ridge Rd.
Once inside, the suspect snatched 10 handguns and two rifles from display cases before fleeing the scene.
Westlake police said within two weeks they obtained DNA from the hammer and traced it to a 16-year-old Cleveland boy with prior convictions for fleeing from police, receiving stolen property, breaking and entering, and att
