Hundreds of nitrous oxide canisters, seven burner phones and a 'cache of weapons' were all seized during a huge raid in Rochdale town centre.

Officers descended on a business unit in Dane Street at 10.30am today (November 12).

Greater Manchester Police says the building, and the names of people linked to it, had become the focus of its attention.

The force acted on intelligence before executing a warrant at the building this morning, searching for illicit drugs.
