NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet announced the arrest of a Terrebonne Parish man in connection with a child cyber crime investigation.

Detectives have re-arrested Angel Rodas, 25, of Gray, La. on numerous charges related to the ongoing case.

According to investigators, detectives with the Special Victims Unit reviewed multiple cyber tips received through national reporting systems. Through forensic analysis, investigators identified more than 66 individual files containing child sexual abuse material depicting children ranging in age from newborn infants to about 12 years old. Investigators said all of the material shared the same digital forensic marker, indicating the files were accessed through a single computer system.
